We understand! Our kayak club offers and an awesome, economical plan to get you out paddling as much as you want. The kayak club is open to a group of about 15 paddlers who have privileges to use the kayaks and gear down at our dock at Van Isle Marina in Sidney, B.C. This is an ideal location to launch from and it is situated at the gateway to the Gulf Islands Marine Park Reserve. Our convenient dock is the best spot in the Victoria and Sidney area to launch from. Just come down and see for yourself our great location and kayak dock which is custom fitted with a step down to make getting in the kayaks even easier. Free parking and washroom facilities at Van Isle Marina, not to mention the great dining available at the Dockside Grill and Blue Peter Pub right there, too. We are a ‘wee” operation, but “we” rock and so do the beautiful islands where “we” frequent and you could, too!

How Things Work
- kayaks must be booked ahead of time; usually a few days notice is best
- dates you request may be booked, but we will do our best to accommodate (and is why we limit membership)
- kayaks and gear are to be hosed off upon return; all gear to be properly put away and locked up
- waivers are to be signed for the year
- to join, member to provide us with a current credit card number and expiry date in lieu of a damage deposit and sign authorization to A Paddle in the Park Kayaking that we may charge your credit card account for any damages or loss of kayaking equipment you are responsible for
- membership form must be signed agreeing to club member terms
- annual membership fees must be paid in full upon joining
- membership is good for 365 days
- members exercise due care with equipment and agree to let us know about any damage to equipment and make arrangements with us to have gear repaired, replaced or paid for, i.e., broken paddle
